I love this game. In fact, Im addicted..but, its not opening on my iPad Air 2, though still functional on my iPad 4. Please update.

Wont work since the last 2 updates. Too bad 5 stars otherwise.

I got this app as a replacement for Scrabble which got greedy. In order to avoid the obnoxious commercials that popped up every move. To avoid this you were forced to buy their rather expensive version. The Words AI app is pretty good but even though I selected "impossible " difficulty level, I consistently win. I get a congratulation with a comment. "May be you need to increase your difficulty level. HOW DO YOU DO IT? I have noticed that near the end of the game, the computer stops playing. As of today 12/18/2016, I have changed my rating to 2stars. Im sick and tired of winning and be told "perhaps you need to increase your difficulty level". How do I do that when Ive already set the difficulty level to "impossible "

Very good game, erudite and instructive.. You learn of iTunes and You can play levels on tour rhythm. Playing against AI IS REAL FUN and you can beat it, even on difficult level. Try it

Has option to choose regular or erudite version. Game works great.

Deleting this stupid app. Just typed in "Rhine" which wasnt accepted then the computer typed in "epigoni" which was. Happened too many times. This is the worst scrabble app Ive ever used.

Upper levels play words consistently that do not exist, yet do not recognize real words. Get a real dictionary Al.

Unlike other scrabble type games, this one works very well offline. The ads are also not intrusive and (I think) static when offline.

Enjoyed playing this game for a couple of years. Updated, now cant access game.

Really enjoy this game but requires an expanded vocabulary. Would give five stars but English words are limited e.g. qued, skew... Would like to have access to an on-line dictionary similar to W.E.L.D. The AI place words that are unknown. Anyway fun game.

Facinating game - lovely designed and smoothly working. However you need to enable Scrabble rules in options otherwise it works with russian Erudite rules that are not as perfect. I didnt tried to play with another player but playing vs AI is really fun but on higher levels it choose weird and rarely used words. Developers state that computer use OSPD dic but Im not sure because of words like AI,TURNS, etc. Clicking on these words gives NO DESCRIPTION dialog. Also advertising disappeared after a click and I never seen it till the end of the game. Please fix some minor issues and enable Scrabble rules by default and it would be definitely best Words game in here!

Truly love this game. Delayed writing review hoping I could gain some understanding of 1) inexplicable freeze ups (I must be doing something wrong, but I dont know what) 2) occasional double scores when I expect a triple 3) difficulty in getting a letter to "stick"...again, it could be something Im doing...but the letter just zips back to the holder. Most times, after about seven tries and moving it around the board, it finally sticks in the intended place 4) AI seems to skip a turn or two at the beginning of each match.

After playing several games, some of the functions quit working. I have only played against AI, and he (?) would stop responding. Some of the scoring was incorrect. I tried to place a tile, it turned yellow and I could not get it to move on to the board. Strange two letter words were used..like mu. Ive reinstalled, but no good. Hope to see the bugs fixed, but for now its off to the cemetery of apps.

This is a very nice Scrabble clone. Its ad supported but they do NOT get in your face. This is very well done, and I highly recommend it to any Scrabble player!

Ok, I love Scrabble type games! They are admittedly a personal addiction. I was getting tired of the ridiculous issues I am having with "Words by P--T!" No updates to the app, no responses to emails, bugs galore. I downloaded this app hoping for a better experience; Better should mean superior to my issues explained above and certainly a better challenge to beat. I would rate the app higher, but I am playing against the program at the "Impossible" level and winning by "impossible" margins. This concerns me that the AI is very flawed. So improve the AI and Ill raise my rating. I should not be able to beat the hardest level honestly 528 to 246.

I tried others but this is the best.
