English version of famous Russian word game Erudite, originally inspired by Scrabble. The game is meant to enrich vocabulary and develop logical thinking. You need to compose words on a game field with tiles of different value. Unlike original game there are some differences: you can put several words at a turn, starting 7-letter word is always placed on start, etc.

Wont work since the last 2 updates. Too bad 5 stars otherwise.

Very good game, erudite and instructive.. You learn of iTunes and You can play levels on tour rhythm. Playing against AI IS REAL FUN and you can beat it, even on difficult level. Try it

Works, which is more than I can say for the high-priced, over-hyped, feature-laden alternative.

Unlike other scrabble type games, this one works very well offline. The ads are also not intrusive and (I think) static when offline.

Some bad moments

I got this app as a replacement for Scrabble which got greedy. In order to avoid the obnoxious commercials that popped up every move. To avoid this you were forced to buy their rather expensive version. The Words AI app is pretty good but even though I selected "impossible " difficulty level, I consistently win. I get a congratulation with a comment. "May be you need to increase your difficulty level. HOW DO YOU DO IT? I have noticed that near the end of the game, the computer stops playing. As of today 12/18/2016, I have changed my rating to 2stars. Im sick and tired of winning and be told "perhaps you need to increase your difficulty level". How do I do that when Ive already set the difficulty level to "impossible "

Deleting this stupid app. Just typed in "Rhine" which wasnt accepted then the computer typed in "epigoni" which was. Happened too many times. This is the worst scrabble app Ive ever used.

Upper levels play words consistently that do not exist, yet do not recognize real words. Get a real dictionary Al.

Enjoyed playing this game for a couple of years. Updated, now cant access game.

Really enjoy this game but requires an expanded vocabulary. Would give five stars but English words are limited e.g. qued, skew... Would like to have access to an on-line dictionary similar to W.E.L.D. The AI place words that are unknown. Anyway fun game.

Facinating game - lovely designed and smoothly working. However you need to enable Scrabble rules in options otherwise it works with russian Erudite rules that are not as perfect. I didnt tried to play with another player but playing vs AI is really fun but on higher levels it choose weird and rarely used words. Developers state that computer use OSPD dic but Im not sure because of words like AI,TURNS, etc. Clicking on these words gives NO DESCRIPTION dialog. Also advertising disappeared after a click and I never seen it till the end of the game. Please fix some minor issues and enable Scrabble rules by default and it would be definitely best Words game in here!
